What Is the Order of the Filmmakers?

Here Ye, Here Ye! A new guild has been formed - and it's called the Order of the Filmmakers. This is an informal renaissance-based guild (and secret society) for those looking to create, explore or appreciate film in the world of Renaissance Festivals.

The main reason that I created this group was because I felt like there wasn't a lot of great resources out there for people who are wanting to do more long form video-based content at renaissance festivals. I wanted a space where like-minded people could come together and share the projects and ideas their working and get feedback from others who care. I have a lot of ideas myself, I am always looking for new ideas and inspiration, and I love to collaborate with others when making videos and wanted a better way to bring together like-minded people.

There are no requirements or restrictions to join and be apart of the guild. If you are just starting out or are extremely experienced, you're welcome to be apart this guild. Right now, there isn't a ton of activity or members but my aim is to slowly build up and grow the guild over the coming years. I would like to do little challenges, feedback meetups, and more. I think there's a lot of potential for the guild and I hope that people will stick around to see what's next. Thanks!
